Developing missionaries is hard - and that’s why many churches have outsourced cross-cultural sending to missions agencies. But local churches can and should take a meaningful role in preparing and commissioning their own people to the nations.

You're invited to a one-day workshop with the Upstream Collective hosted by the Roanoke Area Global Impact Forum (RAGIF), on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Parkway Church on the Mountain.

We’re thrilled to welcome Bradley Bell, the Executive Director of Equipping at the Upstream Collective, to lead the upcoming workshop. A former missionary, church planter, missions pastor, and lead pastor, Bradley brings a wealth of experience to helping churches send well. He is the author of The Sending Church Defined, co-author of The Sending Church Applied, and writes at beautifulmissiology.com. He and his wife, Katie, live in Louisville, Kentucky, with their four daughters.
